We can choose a location that's meaningful to you, explore somewhere beautiful together, and capture the laughs, cuddles and little in-between moments that make your relationship yours.

Not Getting married with me? That's ok too - I also photograph engagement sessions with couples that simply want nice photos together.
Our engagement sessions are super relaxed and fun. They're also a great way to get comfortable in from of the camera before your wedding day.
We also love to capture couples celebrating any occasion or milestone in their relationship.
Think of it as a lovely date idea: just the two of you in a beautiful location with your future wedding photographer joining you!

An engagement session isn't just about getting some beautiful photographs before your wedding.
It's also a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.
If you're the kind of couple who normally says "we're terrible at photos", this is a great way to discover that you actually aren't — you just haven't had the right person behind the camera.
It's also a lovely excuse to spend an hour together without talking about seating plans, suppliers or wedding timelines!

What Happens During The Session?
So... what actually happens?
We meet somewhere beautiful.
We'll have a wander, chat and get to know each other.
I'll give you some direction.
You don't have to know how to pose. I'll give you simple prompts so you always know what to do.
Then I'll get out of the way.
Once you're comfortable, I'll let things happen naturally and capture the moments between the photographs.
And hopefully you'll forget I'm even there!

Do we need to know how to pose?
No. I'll guide you through the session and give you simple prompts so you don't feel awkward.
What should we wear?
Wear something you feel comfortable and confident in. If you're unsure, I'm happy to help.
Where can we have our session?
Anywhere that feels like you, or I can suggest locations around Sydney, Wollongong and the Southern Highlands.
What if we're really nervous?
That's completely normal! Most couples tell me they're nervous beforehand. Usually within a few minutes they're laughing and wondering why they were worried.
Can we bring our dog?
If the location allows it, absolutely!
Can we use the photographs for our wedding invitations?
Of course.
